Monarchs is a professional Counter-Strike 2 team from Kosovo. Four of our players are Albanian — born and raised in Kosovo — and one is from Sweden.
We share a flag, a language of in-game calls, and a single goal: bring our names to the international stage.
This roster wasn't assembled from a spreadsheet. It started as a group of friends who played together for years — long before anybody was talking about "the team."
Over time the playing got serious, the practice got structured, and the friendship turned into a professional project. The chemistry was already there. What changed was the standard.
When Bad News Eagles fell out of professional play and ultimately disbanded, Kosovo lost its flag at the top level of CS.
Freddols — Monarchs' IGL, Coach and Owner — felt that somebody had to take the step. Monarchs exists to carry that torch forward and bring professional Counter-Strike back to Kosovo.
The team was formed in mid 2025, but the players go back much further than that. Some of them have been playing CS since the early 2010s — and a few even further, into the 2000s.
What you see today is a young organisation with deep roots.
